I'm lousy at fan letters, but Pete has a birthday coming up next month (May 3), and I'd like to at least send him a card.

Does anyone know what address to use?

Thanks!

He's a real nice guy. I once sent him a Christmas card & he sent me one back. Evidently remembered me & Mike from the few times we saw him with Arlo. Good luck in writing to him... :)

Thanks! I'm usually pretty good at googling, but I wasn't even coming close on this one.

By the above posts, I would assume Pete Seeger lives in Beacon, NY. Another assumption is that Beacon, NY is not a huge place. Seeing as how Mr Seeger is pretty well known, and particularly in those parts, I feel that anything addressed to him and in "Care of General Delivery", Beacon, NY (plus zip) would get to him. Also, you might try and contact the Postmaster there...he may not give you the exact address but could advise you if the "Care of General Delivery" would be sufficient. Arlo and/or T-Shirt Cathy could probably even get it for you. Just a few more alternative suggestions.

Pete does indeed live in Beacon, a tiny little town, so a general delivery letter should get through without trouble. Clearwater has become a fairly sophisticated organization that seems to have separated itself more and more from Pete but I"m sure they would pass along any letters you send.

I know this is too late for his birthday but there are always reasons to send cards and letters of appreciation.

V.
