Is this the same song Merle Haggard does on his "The Peer Sessions" CD.

Lyrics are something like:

I also would like to hear Arlo's story, if there is one, about why he sings the song. Maybe he just likes it. I don't believe I've heard him sing it live. Not too long ago he sang Jimmie Davis's "You are my sunshine" around the time of Davis' birthday. I would have loved to have been there to hear that one too.
