....sometime during the great turkey assault and attempted arlonet massacree..... i got a chance to see the Mammals perform locally at Johnny D's.... a great blues/folk/country/bluegrass/cajun/rock spot....and a fine alternative to Passim's .... all the charm and alot more room....run and attended by friendlier folks....and with a dance floor....that folks dance on....wow...

....they of course played and sang great and it was fun to see them in such
a good venue for their music...and see people dance !....they are setting off on a cross country tour to intro their new cd....just released....so check out their website for your area....

...they were selling a cutrate nude folk calendar, which if you didn't read about was done for the benefit of the Folk Alliance....so they all signed their photo (they are October) for me.....the calendar is a hoot....
and they have a new member....Ben...on the keyboards...who was kind enough to sketch his torso on the page and sign it...
