Just saw a 30 minute show on PBS called "Natural Heroes." Segment was done in 2000 and was titled "Roll on Columbia - Woody Guthrie." Really good stuff about how the US Govt. Department of the Interior hired WWG for one month in 1941 so he could write songs about and publicize the Bonneville Power Authority in the Northwest.

I could just imagine ADG being hired by the government today so he could, say, write songs about and publicize the "surge."
