Just letting some good hearted people know, Sue and I made it to Woodstock A.okay. Leon Russell seems to be at the top of his game. He fired his guitar player, and keyboard player a couple mnths ago...

Maybe this is the reason. But his new guitar player 'Chris Simmons' and Blind Brian on Keyboards ( Organ ) seemed to really spark up Leon's performance. Chris Simmons is someone to look for. Young guy, 6' 5" great looking dude. ( no homo ) Just your typical guitar looking dude. But some people have that extra Kharma, and Chris sure is 'Larger than life'. It was true kharma, I got to meet Chris, talk about his career, and he is SO down to earth... Still he's walking on clouds, playing lead guitar for the legendary Leon Russell... Chris is from Oklahoma, so maybe that says it all??? We even talked about myspace.... One kewl dude. Ta say the VERY least.

I was AMAZED to actually meet Leon Russell, in the middle of the afternoon, after he walked outta the Bearsville bar, and was heading twords his tour bus.... My hero was everything I expected and more.

I won't beat this horse, but ( as ya might imagine ) you can look for photos, on the risingsonrecords sight... or myspace...

Sue and I drove thru ice rain, hail, and the wildest snowstorm, I've seen since the storm of 1977.... Got stuck in Syracuse NY.... But importantly, made it home safe....

Peace out/Rb

** LEON RUSSELL, does Bob Dylans "Hard Rain Gonna Fall" with a R & R vengence.... I was completely straight, but from the hard, hard rock, and the loudest concert I've ever heard, I might as well been on Peyote....

It's nice to know some things don't change, and get better with time...

God lives, "The Master of Space & Time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't mind seeing some things change by that hard rain I've been waiting for for only 13 years.
Was that Leon Russel in the last waltz or Dr Hook, or both, there were so many?
