I had NPR on tonight while driving, and between 7-8 pm they had a program called "Happy and Joyous Hannukah" featuring the Klezmatics playing some Woody Guthrie tunes. They did "Hannukah Geld", "Mermaid Avenue", and a lullaby to Arlo, along with lots of others. The announcer pointed out that Woody's mother-in-law (Arlo's maternal grandmother named Greenblatt) was Jewish, and he was always intensely into "crossing cultures" like Okie and Jewish. Cool program.
