I am working on publicity for THE PROTEST SINGER: An Intimate Portrait of Pete Seeger by Alec Wilkinson, written drawing on the extensive talks Alec had with Pete. The result is a book that lives up to Pete’s own request - “Too much has been written about me, and at too great length,” he said. “What’s needed is a book that can be read in one sitting.” New Yorker writer Alec Wilkinson has written that book.

I have no need to tell you that substance of the book – the substance of Pete’s life – is remarkable.

To celebrate Pete Seeger and the very happy milestone of his 90th birthday this year, we are throwing Pete a virtual birthday party!
