RIP Soupy Sales. 83 years old. I think there is a big pie waiting for him at the pearly gates.

Soupy had a lot of dirty jokes involved with his love of pie, as I recall. He will be missed.

Yeah, I had seen that. So sorry to hear about him. I remember his old tv show. He always got it with a pie on there. RIP...

Maybe a folkie in his own way ... folk humor (?) It certainly wasn't mainstream. He provided one of many, many points, albeit not a serious one, on which my parents and I could disagree when it was important to me to do that. :wink:

I had missed notice of his dying--thank you for posting this.
