Pete is home recovering from Lymes disease.
I found out about this about ten days ago, after I was told about it by Country Joe McDonald while talking with him after his show.Joe had just done a gig with Pete a week or two before. I was not sure if it was Petes wishes for it to be public knowledge,so I didn't post this earlier, but since I just heard it on the radio, and Pete's wife made a statement about it, here it is.
Lymes disease is a weird one from what I know about it. It's kinda like you spin the wheel to see what your particular symptoms will be. I did a little research on it when my wife and daughter were affected by it.(both ok now)
It can be a seriously debilitating disease in some cases. I know that I'm not alone in sending my best wishes and prayers to Pete and his family. Get well soon Pete!!

Ya Larry, that can be a REAL bummer. My wife was missdiagniosed with having Lymes, way early last summer. So, we found out just about everything there was to this disease.
Very luckily, she didn't have it. I guess early treatment (or early detection) is key.

*Wishing Pete, all the best!!!
