It's been a while since I've posted. Years, come to think of it. But I was on the P* BB eons ago. I didn't see you all at Carnegie Hall last Thanksgiving, and had given up on you all. But a trip to the Church a few weeks ago brings me back here.
That, and a benefit tonight for the Rosenberg Fund For Children.
Tonight is the 50th anniversary of the execution of the Rosenbergs. Pete Seeger, Ronnie Gilbert and Holly Near, among others, will be performing tonight at a benefit for the Fund, which is the brainchild of one of their two sons.
I work in the same building, now as Harold Leventhal. I saw him in the elevator on Tuesday, and he told me that Arlo's Thanksgiving concert this year is on, and that tickets will be available in August. He will also be at the concert tonight. He told me that the Thanksgiving concert will be a benefit for something "Guthrie." He might have said the Guthrie Center, which would (of course) be centered in the Church, but it might have been something else Guthrie.
Anyway, it's good to be back. I don't know if I recognize anyone. Dee Dee? Laura Lee? Anybody home?
David B.
