Pete is 86 Today

Around the world people are celebrating Pete's 86th birthday today both in organized events (http://www.seegerfest.com) and in their own ways. While he strongly resists hooplas about him, we can still still celebrate him by carrying on his good work -our work- in our own communities. It is this kind of individual work that pleases him most, and is the most fittng tribute to his inestimable gifts to us, today and always. As many years as I have seen Pete I never realized how old he his.....the man is a hero of mine.......and you are only as old as you feel....... :twisted:

Happy Birthday to PETE!!! :D I'll be seeing him and Arlo at a concert next Saturday (10-15) at Beacon High School! CAN'T WAIT!! May he stay forever young!!!

Thanks Lorie!! :D I feel very lucky! I'll be seeing Arlo tomorrow night at the Church and AGAIN next Saturday with Pete!!! I'll have to remember this in the winter when I get an ARLO-FIX!! Twice in a week ... it doesn't get much better than that!! :lol:

You are very welcome Cyndy :) Say does Arlo play at the Church in the Spring and Summer every year? I am dying to meet him and see him for the first time I just got into Arlo a month ago and I just missed getting tickets for the Church show. Does he have an autograph session after each show?
