A friend told me she heard an interview of Woody Guthrie years ago and she remembered something he said that she'll never forget. Now she's told me and I'll never forget. He said that whenever he had a problem of sorts, he'd look up at the sky.
I suppose all that endless sky sorta put things in perspective. 8) I think that is very cool. Now I know that my friend knows this and now she knows I know and now you know we know. Just more light to spread around  I believe when we hear things that we understand right away, such as someone else's wisdom found in a song, it's because we already know it, have hummed the words millions of times, it's just that we've forgotten the tune and the song brings back the tune and then the words are remembered. and then we know we know. I like that.

I like this..........Woody had to go through so much, but he always had a no nonsense way of looking at things........he used humor and some sort of inner strenght and a lot of common sense........I need to think more of this quote in bad times.....excellent
