Jack Elliot mentioned in the tribute book that Derroll Adam's banjo had Japanese calligraphy written on his banjo and "it was some sort of hip statement that Jack Kerouac wished he 'd have wrote." Is the calligraphy on the face of the CD is the same that appears on the face of the banjo......?

Hi,
in the back of the leaflet where it says "making of the CD" it is mentioned, that Milica Theessink made the photo shot of the banjoskin that's printed on the CD itself.
For the meaning: I'd also love to know what it means.
"Banjoman" is a tribute made with a lot of love for the man. I love the CD, it is quite and very intense.
