Arlo's music is woven inextricably and radiantly into the rich, diverse tapestry of American music, and while I do not know him personally, he seems to be an exemplary human being, as well ... wonderful sense of humor, generous and loving in spirit. It doesn't get much better than that. I'm all for his being inducted into the Hall of Fame. Would love to see it happen.

was thinkin' again about the R&R Hall of Fame, since they announced the 'candidates' to be voted on for this years induction... and I wondered, Arlo, are you eligible to vote??
if so, if you don't mind sharin' with us... who would you be considering for this year?

John Mellencamp, Miles Davis, Blondie, Cat Stevens (now known as Yusuf Islam), Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Black Sabbath, the Dave Clark Five, the J. Geils Band, Chic, Joe Tex and the Sir Douglas Quintet.

I do like Blondie & Joe Tex & Cat Stevens.....but Hall of Famers??? No way.
