ADG: He's Only Mostly 59!

At one of his concerts, Arlo said he wanted to name the "Live in Sydney" CD "He's Only Mostly Dead" but got outvoted by the family. July 10 is coming up quickly, so any new recording should be called "ADG: He's Only Mostly 59!" Happy Birthday, Arlo! May your Natal Anniversary be filled with love, laughter, family, friends, & a sense that this world is a better place because you are here--God bless you.

Hmm, Arlo must be a fan of The Princess Bride, one of my favorite movies. The line is uttered by Miracle Max, played by Billy Crystal, "...your friend here is only mostly dead, which means he's a little bit alive." 8)

I just watched it again the other day... the new DVD with extras (the Dread Pirate Roberts edition...)

Just got the DVD recently, haven't had a chance to check it out yet. Carol Kane played Max's wife, Valerie, who came rushing in shouting "Liar!" She's also the one who paints the pill with chocolate, saying the "The chocolate coating makes it go down easier." It's a little frightening that I even know this off the top of my head. :wink:

I've been a Harrison fan for years and never knew that. So I looked it up on Amazon.com and it says Mark Knopfler did the music?

Quite right, Mark Knopfler did the music, and the theme was sung by Willie DeVille. Never heard anything about George Harrison being associated with it.
