Ok I have searched and searched and searched and I can't find who is the female who sang this with Arlo. I'm sure someone here can tell me! I love that song. Brings to mind a dear friend of mine! :) The vocals and harmony are beautiful!

It was Leah Kunkel. She was Momma Cass' sister....if I remember right. Good vocal genes in that family!

You just freaked me out!...I do remember seeing Leah on TV back in the late '90s being interviewed and talking about her sister on VH1's Behind the Music:Mamas and the Papas.....It's a small world after all :)

Is she married (or related some other way) to drummer Russ Kunkel? You might remember Russ as a sought-after session man during the 70s on, playing with Linda Ronstadt and James Taylor, and quite possibly Arlo on at least one album.
