Hello again so soon!!....I must comment on Arlo's 6th tune on "Mystic Journey"....I've been a poet, song writer, listener, talker, story teller,..for many years.
And never, once...Have I come across the thinking that Arlo has captured in, "Doors To Heaven"..!!...It's a brilliant concept & point of view. I played it today for my Mom of 78 years, in the car & she said, "That's just beautiful.."...And, as I wiped a tear from my eye, I said..."Yea Mom...That's Arlo.."

So....Blunder Heads!!!!!...Let's take this one to the highest mountain & let Arlo's anthem "RING LOUD!!"......Of course...I know he would most assuedly dissaprouve, but...gee....the guy's a saint!!...And if he won't do it in his name......Well.....Just leave his name out of it....OK?..Arlo?...Hee...Hee...Just kidding...of course...

But seriously folks......This is simply, a beautiful, simplistic view of the nature of life here, now, past & beyond!....It's brilliant...

Thank's Arlo.....
MKF...aka...Mike

I agree with you on "Doors to Heaven" and "Mystic Journey" as a whole.
But, before you start calling our favorite folkslinger a genious, please remember he would be the first one to remind you that he also wrote "The Motorcycle Song" :D

Arlo's allot of great things. I could be wrong, but I think he'd be the first to tell ya, he's no saint...

I gotta VHS tape, of Arlo and Abe doing 'Doors to Heaven' on a Country Music show.. Country prime time, or something like that.... Hoyt and May Axton are in the Audience... Arlo does interview.... I'll look for it, MKF, but no promises.... I have this bad habit, of lending out my shit, and it never seems to return...... Or 3 mnts later, I get it back, and it's like elephants trampled on it.... So I don't lend stuff out anymore........ But IF, I said IF, I can find it, I'll try and make a copy...

I also have a habit, of hording all my memorabillia, in boxes, taped with duct tape, so finding it in my house will be a feat in its'self.....

But I will try......

Ya, Doors to Heaven is great but he just stole the idea from Jacob's Ladder. Both songs mean though if you study the quote last days which aint the end of the world, that Michael of Daniel 12:1 is the child of Rev 12.
Have a nice trip.
