If when an artist writes an instrumental piece how they/arlo feels when someone puts words to it. When I listen to Haleiwa Blues I hear lyrics. Now I by no means consider myself a wouldn't ever actually sit down and write any words to it. But it made me think about how a writer feels when that does happen.

I know on live at Sydney, when talking of this song, Arlo said that sometimes songs don't need words. So I wonder how he would feel if someone did put words to it.

I'm sure the words that im hearing (love song type cus im a hopeless romantic ) don't match the same emotions that was going through his mind when he wrote it.

Ok im pretty sure im rambling. It's late (or early depending on how you look at it. I haven't gone to bed yet ) so I'll shut up so I can hear some of yourl thoughts
