Hi everyone, been missing for awhile but my last computer died, so had to wait until I could get a new one, so here I am.

I have all of Arlo's records & have taped them all on that old outdated cassettes. Thing is, with my new computer I can listen to songs on my PC, I have my faves on it, but I can't find Percy's song, which is one of my very favourites. Is there somewhere I can get it & put on my computer, as I'd love to listen to it while wasting my time on the net.

I just remembered I also would like to get the Santa Claus song, I laugh myself sick over that song.

Hi SandieR and welcome back,the regular routes for this is to go to the itunes site,it is a pay for download thing but is fairly cheap or you can go to the trading section of this site.On the trading section you may find someone willing to put a live show or version on cd for you for the cost of postage and handling and a blank cd ,or if you have a show to trade...
You can also go to "get stuff" on the resource menu of this site to buy cd,s.Hope this helps,peace

Cheers for that, I'm not trying to rip off Arlo, as I said I have all his albums & just got the DVD of Alice's Restaurant. It;s just that I'm not very well off, so can't buy all of the CD's to get my faves.

Percy's song means so much to me, because I lost a friend in similar circumstances. I am happy to pay to download, as long as I only have to pay for the few songs I want, not all the albums I already have.

Were you looking for the version of Percy's Song from the album Washington County? Don't know if that album is available on the Australian iTunes or not.

Yes Kurt, that is the one I've been searching for, if there is another version available to download for a charge, I'd be extremely interested.

I'm also having trouble finding The pause of Mr Claus.

The Pause of Mr. Claus is available on the self-titled "Arlo" Live CD. Was is available on the Australian itunes? Or you can type in the song in the search engine and find out what results come up on the page.

Seeing as my footy team isn't in the finals, so not interested in watching the other teams, decided to watch "Alice's Restaurant" again for the umpteenth tine, I love that movie.

They shoulda showed Arlo second.

I have heard of Double Features but too young too remember way back yonder. Kinda reminds me of drive-in movies where the show the happy go lucky movie first and then show the angry rebellious inject my veins movie second. ....Create your own double feature on the parking of a Dodge and keep the engine running

I was checking it out tonight and heard a great live version of "Percy's Song", performed with Shenendoah.....

Shenendoah starts show, without Arlo... Into the 6th track, Arlo joins Shenendoah..... He does a song "Groundhog" ( never heard it.... It's a sorta kids song I guess) but a GREAT version of Percys Song..... And allot of other great concerts on said site...

Hot Tuna. On toast. ( or toasted ) but I won't hear the band, toasted, for a couple yrs.

Toasted or not. Hot Tuna Rules.... John Hiatt sounded kinda raunchy. To my surprize.... But I guess, I'm spoiled having the Austin City Limits, show.

John sounded best when he played with the 'Guilty Dogs'.

And Dave Matthews is a dissapointment. But he's a lil mushy for my taste. My wife digs his stuff..... But live, it sure sounds like Busted Stuff...

Maybe it's the qualitly of the recordings, or he just gets too drunk live, compared to his studio recordings.... I heard somewhere that he was a lush....
