Hi Arlo and friends, just enquiring if you intend to come over the pond again in 2007 last years concerts in the UK and Eire were awsome sorry cant help with the exchange rate its in our favour at the moment but if we cant tempt you with Bedford, Manchester Dublin etc we shall just have to come over to the Berkshires, our VW camper van is ready if you decide to visit our shores, please dont leave it too long. Best wishes to everyone at the Church for 2007

Just noticied Arlo is appearing in Germany 31st May, with no concert dates yet notified for June could this mean he may get to the UK to appear although we have never been to Germany so that could be an option

Turkey sounds good but Arlo is going further away from the UK still hoping for a few concerts on the return trip if not might need the address of a good hotel in Istanbul.

Thanks Bhaklava just checked Easy Jet daily flights very affordable if no concerts crop up nearer to us we will be heading east in June.

Political fallout struck the Turkey tour. It gets kind of complicated, but in a nutshell, there is a resolution waiting for a vote in the US Congress saying that the US recognizes an Armenian genocide happened during the last days of the Ottoman Empire in 1915. In Turkey it's a very touchy subject, to say the least. So, in retaliation, funding for the Jazz festival got pulled, and American performers won't be coming here this summer.
We're be so much better off if we exiled all the politicians of the world to a deserted island, and let them pass laws among themselves while the rest of the world got on with living and getting along together.
So, no Hawaii to Harem tour this year. :cry:

So sorry for you guys that he won't get to come to Turkey. I know Arlo would've enjoyed the trip. We feel for ya & hope he makes it your way sometime in the future...
