OK, so I'm still not excited about Wilmington, after 18 years, transplanted from New Orleans; but, Arden, DE......that's paradise! My next door neighbor dropped two Arlo tickets on me last night (I red-eyed in from Las Vegas the previous night, so I wasn't sure I could managed it).
WOW! was it worth it!
Music, lyrics, rambling stories.....Arlo and family are so entertaining.
I have a humble submittal to Arlo, for his bit on the Alzheimer's/Cannabis connection bit. My father, a storyteller in his own right, used to muse that, "I have 'Reverse Alzheimer's'...it's not that I forget things that happened; it's that I remember things that never happened!"
In my work (musically choreographed fireworks displays), in addition to sellecting the music, I often get to tag a recessional piece for audience walk-out. Last July 4th, I used "This Land...." for recessional. I could hear the crowd singing as they gathered their blankets and strolled out. It was sweet. This year, I'm going to actually choreo part of the show to it.
Last night, I had a feeling they'd close with it. I so enjoyed it!
It's their last performance for a couple of weeks. In encore, Arlo rambled. He was really enjoying himself. You could tell, by the expressions on the faces of his family, that he was just going on, off script (if there is such a thing for this unique talent.)

Oh My Gawd!!! - Welcome to the blunderworld PD. We desperately need a musically choreographed fireworks display artist in this group. Seriously, Happy to have you here. Glad you loved the show. We caught him there May 13, 2005 and the Grand Opera House is a very nice venue. ADG always does a great show.

There isn't much to get excited about in Wilmington!

Welcome to the site! Thanks for the info ya'll. We didn't get to go to the show cuz it was too close to the Hampton shows so we enjoyed hearing about what we missed. We did see Arlo at the Wilmington venue once & it was nice. I bet eh family didn't have the time to go clothes shopping while on tour...

I think the family grabbed shopping carts and rode in them as they went through the car wash with their clothes on and showered at the same time

I'm sure once you have an outfit that you are comfortable performing you keep on wearing it. Like a stage uniform.

I don't suppose they have several sets of the same outfit?
