After attending the 40th reunion of Alice's Restaurant tour last year in Marin, CA, I was really struck with Arlo's final song, "I bid you peace" . I would love a copy of that song to teach to my students. Does anyone know where I can find it to download?

Thanks,

Maggie

On the main page of this website go to the left side of the page where you see Resources go down the column and click on Tablature and it you bring you to the page with a list of Arlo songs with lyrics and chords, click on My Peace and it has the chords listed.
I hope this helps :)

Peace,
Lorie

thanks to you for the info. the weavers site has a partial of the song but it is beautiful. I found a cd of the song on the APA (American Psychology Assoc) site. I guess they feel Arlo has good affects on our psychological well being. I think we already knew that.

I looked up their website, and the CD is available to "Members only".

I wonder if someone e-mailed them & asked them if maybe they re-consider & consider selling it to blunderites. Just an idea. Now back to bed for me. I had dreamed last nite I was watching Arlo do Alices live in concert & he was doing new verses about a moose named Leonard the Moose. LOL...

I know a lot of APA members and will see if I can score the CD through them. I wonder what Arlo has to say to a room full of shrinks (psychologists actually....shrinks are psychiatrists..to be exact).

I'm not sure, But I think if you shrink a psychiatrist, you get a psychologist. But of course he or she must want to be shrunk. :?

Attended the concert at the Homer (NY) Center For The Arts. What a wonderful way to spend an evening!! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the stories and the music. ADG -- keep up the good work. I did find a video of "My Peace" on YouTube while I was looking for sheet music for the same song (wanna teach it to my choir). I found the tab/chords on Arlo.net, but has anyone arranged it for choir yet? Would it be OK to make my own arrangement?
