adg, judging from your new get stuff girl request, and from what I already knew anyway, it seems that your daughters are management, and that you are labor. This could be dangerous. Did you ever think of starting a union for yourself? I'm sure you could come up with some snappy union song to encourage yourself to join. :)

OK..I know I am supposed to be working right now but I needed a break anyway. Just don't tell the boss. Anyhow, Arnie brings up a good point here. If I had my own kids managing me this could be used as an open opportunity for them to get back at me for things that I made them do that they didn't care to do. Like taking out the garbage for instance or cleaning their room, raking the leaves and shoveling the driveway. Yup, might want to consider starting a union here just for your own protection. Of course I suspect you have good kids but you may want to think about it anyway. Just kidding. Have a great day. As an engineer I don't belong to a union so I have to get back to work. Have a great day everyone..

Oops.. Sorry Larry I did not realize that I had said Arnie. I guess this would be the hazard of working in a cubicle world. The guy that resides in the cubicle next to mine is named Arnie. That's what I get for trying to type and hold a conversation at the same time. Just can't seem to get into working today. I like your post though. Would like to hear what Arlo has to say on the matter. But to quote Arlo, if he doesn't mind, "You can't always do what you're supposed to do". :-D

I've been getting more and more confused myself! I'm never sure if I'm talking to fronthalf or just talkin' to myself!! Maybe we should get different online names, as Arnie and Larry are clearly too similar!
I was thinkin' maybe Mutt and Jeff?
Lewis and Clark??
Sherman and Mr. Peabody???

Only in the mystical "cubical world" could I exist in TWO cubicles at the same time!!! (well, to be fair, one cubicle and one office)
I'm also not sure how I became an engineer, but isn't JohnC gonna be happy!!! 8)

.. Two Arnies? If only there were two Eric's then I could be at work and at home at the same time. But then I am not sure if my wife would like that because she works from home and that could be a disaster. Maybe I could time warp myself to someplace else?

If you watch "Star Trek", I think you will find that the Borg can exist in two or more cubicles at the same time. I don't know about you guys though.

I dunno Arnie. Mutt and Jeff might work.I was thinking Stanie and Ollie. I'll give it some more thought. You can think on it more too if you like, but I'd like to exclude the following from consideration:
Bush and Cheney
Anthony and Cleopatra
Zeigfreid and Roy.
Franks and Beans

Frick & Frack?

Bert and Ernie?

Barney and Fred?

Peter Pan and Tinkerbell? (Larry would be Tinkerbell cause of the Tutu!)

ok, I'll stop thinking about it now...maybe! :)

Yogi and BooBoo?

Beavis and Butthead?

Ken and Barbie?-Larry would be a perfect Barbie-deep blonde thoughts at times! j/k :)

Nuff of my two cents worth!

Can we have a poll ? :) My vote goes to Peter Pan and Tinkerbell, visualizing the pink tutu for Larry and a green suit with a green hat for Arnie.
Or what about :
Snoopy and Woodstock
Charlies Angels
Tim und Struppi:Image

all interesting suggestions.. although i'm more partial to

Spic & Span
Ruff & Reddy
Felix & Oscar (although I have no clue who could be Felix)
Beauty & the Beast
Young & the Restless
KC & the Sunshine Band

but my all time favorite would be
Muck & Mire
("I'm Muck, he's Mire" - Lou Costello)

(Frick and Frack is a close runner-up though!)
