i am trying to find a song that i heard when i was a little girl.all i can remember is some lyrics..any help would be great.i just want to know what the name of it is and what album was it on..

thank you..i just tracked it down by accident on youtube.Arlo with shenandoah..i just HAVE such great memories of this song and dancing around the living room with my mom.i hope i can recreate them with my daughter.

Donovan has recently been peforming this song as well. I think it may be on his new album due for release sometime this year.

I remember this song! I had it by Simon & Garfunkle and sang it in church once. I can't remember why we were invited to sing in this particular church, must have had something to do with my brother. It was a little rural Missouri church of God and I'm sure none of the people there had ever heard the song. Good memories.
