I had so much fun last night, what a treat to finally see Arlo again after all those years.
he was very entertaining and played for 2 hours.
He said they had no set but were going to just play some stuff for us.
I loved hearing the old stories again.

here are a few pics I took, I took some video too, I'll post that once its uploaded.

Out o' sight pictures and video 1purpledragon! Thanks alot for sharing. Darkest Hour has always been one of my favorites. I've been playing it for many years, but everytime I watch Arlo do it I go into one of those beautiful blundermoods. Peace, Kevin

I hope this is not some kinda right wing republican conspiracy. I mean making people go to the zoo to see folksinging hippies?!
I remember the days when you could see them on streetcorners, in bars, folk clubs and various concert venues.

I went to the show at Beardsley Zoo last night.....Ditto purpledragon except for the pix and videos. Each time I give a report of any Arlo show, everybody ignores me

I wouldn't ignor you.........Im just over the top excited that I got to go last night, I can't believe I waited so many years between shows. I hope I don't have to wait that long for another show, I know he comes around but I just never seem to manage it.

he was hear in milford at the oyster fest about 10 years ago and I could have gone and met him if I wasn't on a family vacation. (priorities you know ;) ) I knew someone who was helping with the entertainment and she at least got an autograph for me.

You do know that you're an hour and 47 minutes from the Church, right?

yes I'm aware, problem is getting someobdy to go with me but I really really really want to go to a show at the church. I have family up that way, Im wondering if I can talk one or two of my cousins into going.

one day I was driving home from the relatives and I always go slow past Arlo's place just in case I can get a glimpse and there were a couple of motorcycles out by the road waiting to turn onto the main street. I like to think one of them was Arlo, it was hard to tell through the helmets LOL

If you can't find anyone to go with you, go anyway! You can be sure that some of us will be there, and we'd love to meet you!

... was one of the motorcycles a red Indian? ;)
