I live in Phoenix and will be flying to Tampa in March to see Arlo in concert at the Tampa Theatre. Would very much like to meet other fans that are going to be there.

I won't be at that gig, but I do want to welcome you to the Long-Distance Blunderites (LDBs; please do not confuse with the FLDS). This group includes people who regularly fly long distances to see Arlo, people who live near him but fly and take trains (smarter!) thousands of miles to see him far away from home, and people and ducks who travel on motorcycles and in sidecars for thousands of miles to see him. There are club members in all corners of the nation and the globe. When Abe sees us at gigs, he tells us we're crazy. He's correct. And so, welcome, rblack!

Welcome to Blunderland rblack! I will be at the Gainsville, FL show on Feb. 27 for sure (about a 2 hour drive), and I am negotiating with my front half about other shows while Arlo strums through Florida. Tampa is about 4 1/2 hours away and Jacksonville about 3 1/2 hours. I will let you know if I can make it to Tampa when the time comes. Back in the mid-70's 'till the late eighties or so, when I was much more footloose and fancy-free, I would follow Arlo's shows around the southeast, once catching every Arlo show for almost a month straight. Many people thought I was nuts. But from my very first Arlo show I realized that they were not like other "concerts", and after seeing him night after night I knew that just because I saw a show one night, the next night would be anything but a re-run. The set list might be similar or a story told again (although told differently); each Arlo show is a unique experience. Yes, perhaps I am nuts......perhaps you are......but you will soon find out on these pages that we are in excellent company. Hope to see you somewhere soon!!!

I won't be there but I'll be at the Hampton, VA shows if anyone wants to look me up. You'll have fun at the shows. That's cool you're able to fly to see him. I bet that will be fun! I've been to tons of shows but have never flown to one tho...

I have flown to a gig, but generally I take amtrak to the show and fly home when time does not permit me to take the train and get where I need to be. (usually back to work) Anyhow, welcome rblack!

Thanks to Valentines day I will be missing the Durham, NC show. The church is having their annual Valentines day dinner. Oh well, we'll think of Arlo while we are there... :)

He might be referring to WoodyFest, which has (and we have) been graced with John's and Judy's presence for the last few years. And then there's the Durango show in 2007 ... what a trip that was--Regina Meets the West! We are blessed with our BlunderBuddies who travel to see Arlo (and us).

We too my mom to a coupla Arlo shows. I think she understood me a little better after that. At one of them my dad went with us. He sat in the car not wanting to walk around at his age. Well, he claims he later got out of the car & decided to walk around a bit & ran into Arlo & met him. I think he & Arlo hung out for a bit but Arlo never knew he was my dad lol.

I'll also be at the Hampton shows...but weather permitting (it's dicey in February in VA! I'll be there and driving. I'll be flying to the Tampa one, and spending a week down there with my mom and sister.
