Hey Arlo,

Comin to Oxford Town next week, are you? Well and good, I'm lookin forward to seeing you. Maybe we could get together after the concert or next day and talk a little.

My names's James Anderson, I'm not really a fan (of anyone), but could be a friend. I live and work here (oxford) now but have lived all over, CA, TN., NC, FL, and now here, where I started in 1947 (I notice that's your birth year also) Didn't take me long to get out (~16 yrs), but things have changed. In a nutshell, I am a Ph.D. researcher in Biology, and study Fire Ants for a livin, I was a conscientious Objector in the Viet Nam War, I camped in Mexico for 2 winters studying Monarch Butterflies, I set up and ran MADPro, a study of mountaintops and cloud pollution (for EPA)., I play guitar and write songs. I have Parkinson's disease.

Now I work at the Ole Miiss Field Station, a 740 acre ecological reserve 11 miles off campus... I would love to meet you and show you around the town a little. Let me know....

Attached is Arcadian Lifeboat Trilogy, (after G. Lightfoot, canadian railroad .......) If you're interested, I'd be glad to show the music that comes with it).

James

Thanks for the invite... We'll be coming into town the day of the gig, heading right to the venue and taking off early the next morning. That's the life we live, not much time for visiting with folks - It's not a working vacation kind of thing. But, I do appreciate the offer. All the best to you..

"Sometimes, you just have to show up... "

And most times that's all you can do. The sugar is the show. Ain't it sweet?
