Hi. I am wondering if there is anybody who can point me in the right direction. I am 15 and have terminal lukeimeia and have a thing I am fighting for. There are cops in my county that are like abusing people, harassing everybody, beating people up and just being total punks. I am a singer and songwritter and have tried to organize a fight for freedom against these guys. I have tried writting songs and going to start a protest, and I get nowhere. I mean these guys are bad. They took my bubba to jail for not giving a blinker and then said they would hit him with a tAZER if he didnt get out of the car and he was not even in the wrong. They made fun of me for not having hair. I just am trying to start a movement like you guys did back in the day. I am making this my final wish in life to get these guys stopped and see that this county has to play by the same rules every other place does in our country. Can you folks help me in giving me tips to organize a peaceful organization like "alices resteraunt" thing. Thanks for your feedback! Jordain!

My first thought is this must be some kind of joke... because if it is not, and you have turned to us for help, we need to help you in whatever way we can.

You ask for ideas to bring about a change. To help start a movement.

The cops in the county where you live don't have to live by the same laws as the rest of the country. There is obviously corruption going on there, and how far does that go up?

I am afraid you may be in danger. You are ill, and that can make you physically weak even if your resolve is strong. Then there is the whole police brutality issue.

If it is safe to do so, please provide more details.

Well Jordain, you seemed filled with the spirit of justice.
So far as advice, consider some of the following.

1) document abuses, and give the same presumption of innocence to the police as you would have them give you or your friends.
2) If you are to pen a song, write about a particular case or cases, not about what may be percieved as generic abuses.
3) Find journalists sympothetic to your cause.

Larry, I would like to add a suggestion to your list if I may.

This case should be taken to the state Attorney General & an investigation opened for civil rights violations as well as assaults, abuse of power, ect. This child can contact the AG's office & bring a complaint or ask a trusted adult for help, (ie) clery, school authorities, anyone not likely to be in the pockets of the city/county officials in question.

If the AG's office refuses to look at the case Jordain may have to ask the FBI for help in human rights violations.

I wish this boy well but he has an uphill battle on all fronts with his illness & this worry on his mind.
