True adg, but the time to worry is when they make you into a postage stamp.

I'm rather cynical about most awards these days, because there are so many of them, and most of them are empty and tend to serve the interests of the suits and the industries they serve.
Even an Obama supporter like myself did a wee bit of head scratching while Obama was presented a peace prize named after a guy that invented dynamite as he was preparing to send more troops into a war.

Your award has weight, not simply because you are our guy, but because it's real and based upon the body of your lifes work and seems to be not the industry self-serving sort of thing that seems to be the rule for most other awards there days.
And you got there without having to compromise your ideals and values. That makes it real, and deserved. So, Congrats! Mozel Tov! Namaste! and..........YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
