What fun! The only mistake I heard was their saying that Richard Wilcox was a model for Rockwell; I imagine that one of those horrible editor-type people confused him with Officer Obie. And of course, even when they showed the alley it's on, they neglected to mention Alice's Restaurant. Sheesh! Still, it was nice and a great view of Stockbridge; I will share it with friends. I saw the news report the other day and thought it was terrific. Brought back wonderful memories. Had to laugh about Wilcox being a model, tho... unless he was one of the little boys in R's paintings.

I noted the attribution when I was at the Rockwell Museum last October. It is incredible to stand in front of the detailed originals. Seeing the report having been there recently was wonderful. That whole valley is beautiful. I can see why so many artists want to make their home there. There is not much industry there to speak of except minds and hands.

Yeah, that's what I thought too, Cheryl. The good news is if you get lonely for it, you can go to Google Street View and cruise around the place on what seems to be a warm summer day. I think that is George's car parked on the next to the church. Who is parked across from that may be the mystery figure?
