Hey guys, I recently snagged a first printing of Alice's Restaurant: The Cookbook off of Ebay. It's a great read and really gives you insight to what it must have been like to be in Alice's kitchen watching her do her magic.

I did have a question though, the book says with a recorded introduction by Arlo Guthrie. There is no written introduction in the book. Did the cookbook originally come with a record? If so, what was the recording like? Is a transcript or an mp3 available online?

I have 2 copies of it and one had a recording with it. It was a little cardboard record. I think it had Arlo and Alice goofing around on it...
