Back from the audition. Darkest Hour and St James Infirmary got me a gig. Not a big deal for the folks on the forums, but a whip saw through the moebus strip for me. The manager looked up after I finished DH and asked, "Is that original?" I said, 'Nope. Arlo Guthrie." He said, "Oh yeah, I thought I recognized some of that. Good song."

Arlo, wherever you are, Hairy Thunderer, thanks.

Playing solo for spare change again. How strange... :?

Congrats, len! It's a great song, isn't it?

Congratulations on getting it. Have you been away from performing for a while, so it seems strange? Just wondering. Good luck!

Now I have to learn another 30 songs by next Friday. Should keep me occupied.

Your story sounds very familiar to mine. The burn-out machine shows little mercy.

I wish I could remember half the songs I've already "learned."
I wish I could remember half the songs I wrote.
