Many years ago I heard Arlo doing a song about Puerto Villarta. I don't know the actual name of the song and I can't seem to locate it on Amazon or itunes. At one time I had it on an old cassette. Can anyone tell me the name of the song and how I can get a copy of it? I can't get the song out of my head! I need to hear it again.

Hi Bigfrog, and welcome!

I'm not sure about Puerto Villarta, but the song "Evangelina" refers to Puerto Pinasco... maybe that's the one you're thinking of? Check the lyrics (button over to the left) to see if that jogs your memory... It's on "Outlasting the Blues" from '79.... see "Get Stuff" button. If that's not it, maybe someone else knows the song you're looking for...

WOW! I was really wrong about the location. That is the song I was looking for. "Evangelina" is the song I was thinking about last week while I was vacationing in Mexico. I just downloaded it from Amazon and it is a really wonderful song. Thank you so much for helping me with this!
