Due to the curse of being born forty years too late I've only recently started listening to Arlo Guthrie. I'd like to be optimistic and hope that there might be some more international tours in the books for the future, perhaps in Australia. What are the chances of this ever happening?

Hello, Plutonic! Arlo tours Down Under every few years or so. In fact, he recorded an excellent live album in Australia, "Live In Sydney", so you never know!

My daughter Cathy and my might-as-well-be-daughter, Amy (Nelson), are touring down under at this very time. Check out 'Folk Uke' somewhere down there!

I didn't realize that folk music had gone another generation in the Guthrie family, that's wonderful. I'll see if I can make it to their Adelaide show.

Haha no, there aren't many religious extremists in Australia. Just a bunch of politically correct parents that think everything is going to corrupt their children.
