Just returned from a wonderful few days in the South of Ireland, seeing Arlo in concerts in Cork and Dingle. Arlo was supported by the very talented Jess Klein from Austin Texas and the setting of the St James Church was very similar to Arlo's Church in Housatonic. Arlo was introduced to the audience in Dingle by Donovan who paid tribute to Woody and his music and the contribution he made to world music, he called Arlo his brother in song. Arlo's set started with Olklahoma Hills and contained several Woody songs and Coming into Los Angeles as well as City of New Orleans. He finished with My Peace and a standing ovation from the audience ended a memorable evening. We were just getting ready to fly back to Northern Ireland to see more concerts only to hear that Arlo has had to postpone the rest of the tour and return home to the States due to a family illness. We send Arlo and his family all our best wishes and hope the situation is resolved soon.
