To be loved is the most wonderful feeling there is. What good fortune to love each other for so long. Ease their pain by showing love to all.

To be honest, the news yesterday took me by surprise in how much the news of Jackie's passing affected me. Suddenly, the football game I was watching just didn't seem important. The tears were shed for a woman who I had only met a few times, and who I knew from what she had done online. My heart went out to a family who I have loved as if they were my own. Despite just having met briefly a few times - it was clear that she was a mother, a wife, a nanna, and had a deep passion for making this world a better place. Her love for her family was there for anyone to see. The pictures shared, and her work on sharing the family videos with all of us along with a story here or there. The love she showed for her family is something that will always be in my mind when I reflect on her. And she will be missed.

Well said, Dave; football, politics, and our own petty daily struggles pale in comparison to yesterday's news. I never met Jackie, but, like others, feel that I knew her through the website, for which we all owe you a debt of gratitude. Glad I was able to get to the GC five years ago, and looking forward to the day when I can get up there again.

Having just helped Jackie in August in picking up the video equipment at the Ocean City NJ show, I find it difficult to comprehend that her spirit has left the body and gone on ahead. We will all miss her.

So saddened to hear of the loss of Jackie. We were set to see Arlo for the first time in many, many years and will try to make it another time. This time is for family and friends. Hold each other close and live each day to its fullest!

Just have learned of Jackie's passing....after reading so much about her, Arlo and the family, I feel I know them. What a wonderful, warm caring person Jackie was. My condolences........Prayers are going out to Arlo and family. I'm sure that Jackie's beautiful spirit will remain with them! I believe that when a loved one passes, their life's spirit will stay with and "watch over" those they truly love as the "shell" of a person remains just as a "shell". Rest in Peace, Jackie. She will never be forgotten

My deepest condolences on your wife's passing. To know and love someone for so long is is a dream for some, to lose them all too soon an unfortunate reality for most.

May you take comfort & nurture from her wisdom always and may you soon depart from the sadness of her death.

Sincerely

David E. Smith

Dr. Seuss's words give me great comfort In Times Like These:

"Don't be sad because it's over, smile because it happened."

(Even though most of us know that it's never really over). More love sent to the Guthrie Family........
