Was sitting upstairs learning a Jacques Brel song to cover and realized, crap, it's cold. And this is Alabama.

Winter may bite this year.

Okay okay… so it's 32 early this morning here at the farm. I get the message. Now just if anyone's asking, I'd like a week of Indian Summer about now. I may have to find a more appropriate avatar / picture or something.

Here in Oklahoma I had all the summer I wanted, starting around May 15th and finally cooled down to bearable about October 1st. The last few days I've been wearing my vest to work. Sure feels good.

I work in the recycling department at a big papermill. Whatever it is outside you can add 10-15 degrees to the inside. So when it's 100 outside with 90% humidity, it's miserable inside. Arlo may have never worked in a papermill, but he knows what it's like from being in the Crystal Theater in July when the A/C quit working.
