Yeah! We get back to Hawaii the morning before the night we leave Australia. Or something like that. I mean, I'm an old 60's guy but this is confusing even to me.

Got done with the first show down under - A gig at the Sydney Recital Hall. Great crew, friendly folks, and it went well, except for the rental guitar Steve needed. Abe was able to rewrite it and it all worked out eventually. Although we started a few minutes later than intended. So far, so good. It's always, usually something.

Yesterday afternoon, we played at BluesFest near Byron Bay, Australia. We goofed off with a large tent worth of friendly folks. It's an incredibly well organized event, multiple stages, and they took care of the performers exceedingly well.

Today, we go back for round two, same tent different folks, and hopefully as fun for us as it was yesterday. These are fairly short sets as designed by the festival, but we tried to squeeze in enough to make it worth hearing. They put us up in a remote resort, which is filled with families and young kids running around. Quite nice actually. But, it's about an hour from the festival, and not in Byron Bay itself, which is where we've stayed when our friend, Richard James brought us over previously. Miss being in that town.

Be that as it may, we're enjoying the resort (Peppers), and the small town in which it's located (Kingscliff).

Hey Arlo, we were at your second show at Bluesfest - that was so good. And a joy to join in the Alice's chorus (when it came around on the guitar) with a big tent full of happy people. It was all over far too soon ... ah well.

Thank you and the band so much for making the journey and bringing the magic.

PS: we've travelled a few times from Aus to LA - the flight we take leaves Brisbane at 11am Sunday morning and arrives in LA at 7am Sunday morning. After the arrival formalities it's best to chill out with a few quiet ales until it's later than the time you left, so as not to offend the laws of relativity

Hear you're playing with the Boston Pops in May. Will be looking forward to a video of that.
