arlo.net went online in April 1995. That's almost 30 years ago. And it still works - Altho some of the features haven't worked for a while. That's pretty freaking cool if you ask me. Lots of the original posters are long gone, but those who remain are still hanging in here!

Hahaha Yeah! I was in my mid 40s when this got started. It's been a while

Dave Downin started arlo.net. Before Dave (The Wizard) we were on message boards (or whatever they were called). The internet was just becoming popular. We didn't have our own pages, or sites (or whatever they're called) etc. I joined arlo.net soon after - Just because it seemed like a good idea at the time. One of the features I still love, is the schedule (calendar) and over the years and decades it's been pretty reliable. I've been filling in gigs and other things, when I discover them. Just last week someone helped me with some gigs I did in 1968 that weren't in the schedule. No one kept good records in those days. But they were added to arlo.net's schedule. It keeps going! Hank Reineke, helped me add or correct some dates. It isn't perfect, but it's pretty close!
