Hello, I recently fell down an internet rabbit hole, discovered Arlo Guthrie, and had a good time. The most random question: is there any special story behind a brown hat (maybe there was more than one, but seems to be the same one) that made several appearances in the 1970s? It received its own shout-out on a truly enjoyable episode of "Soundstage" I discovered on YouTube.

No special hat story. I just always liked 'em. I had one back in the late 1960s and it blew off while driving a convertible. Someone retrieved it, and sent it to me about 30 years later. We've still got it somewhere.
