Hi OZZY, and welcome. Stick around here and you will get your questions answered maybe by Arlo himself. This is a fun forum and folks from all over are encouraged to be a part of it. Be sure to check out the "fan base forums"

Welcome to the site. That is so cool folks in Argentina love Arlo. Arlo did a few shows with Dylan on his Rolling Thunder Revue tour. I think they were mostly in Mass. & He did the Benefit show for Chile with Dylan. All of that was in the 70's. He did a few Farm Aid shows that Neil Young was at. I remember Arlo telling me once that Neil Young was a nice guy but had a bit of an attitude problem. Maybe Arlo or someone with more info can give ya more info...

Nah, Neil's OK, he's just a little too concerned about those free-range chickens. But just a little.

:D

Just a little humor added to Cheryls' post, about NYs' analogy, on Leno or Letterman, can't remember, in which he uses free-range birds to define those of us a little too carelessly to the left. At least that was my interpretation. Anyone see it any differently?

"You Are The Song"? Such an expressive take. As rich as it gets anywhere.

Yes, The Band.... Lots of good music. Did you know they had worked with Bob Dylan?

A real nice piece they recorded...."It Makes No Difference"

Hey Ozzy, I noticed your in B.A. Argentina. Well, are you familiar with the music of Horacio Salgan. I have a couple of his recordings and really love his stuff.

Hi GerryB , " It makes no Diff " its one of my picks , sung by Rick Danko

(rip) ... and of course they did with Bob " Before the flood " a 2cds set live

in 1974 and " Planet waves " , have you ever heard " The Weight " ??

sung by Levon Helm another of my picks ( AWESOME !!! ) See " The Last

Waltz " a M.Scorcese film , the backstage of his last Cd together , playin

with E.Harris , B.Dylan , N.Young , E.Clapton , J.Mitchell ,P.Butterfield

and others What a names !!!!!

Im really surprissed you know H.Salgan !!! Im not very familiar with his

music ..... I dont like Tango very much ( not all Argentines does ) I

prefer another kindda National Music .... but try to get Mariano Mores ,

hes another livin' Tango glory , is an excellent pinist and give a

Sinphonic touch to his perfomances ...... but my kind of music is Folk

that's why am here , tryin' to speak English 8)

See ya ....... Ozzy

I think it's a great album. I just hope that it doesn't become known as Arlo's final album.

Welcome, Ozzy!
