Post subject: FOLK UKE CD Release
PostPosted: Tue May 03, 2005 2:41 pm

Today is the official release of Folk Uke's debut CD. For those who don't know this is Cathy Guthrie and Amy Nelson's project. Both Arlo and Willie appear as special guests on nearly every song. As well as a cover of Mrs. G’s Try To Say Goodbye!
Be advised there is a Parental Advisory!
We are having technical difficulties uploading the cd at RSR’s getstuff but is is available at www.folkuke.com[/i]

They will not be available on the road. Exploration is now available through RSR and Folk Uke will be shortly.

Wow! We got our copy in the mail today and just finished listening to it--Folk Uke is a MUST HAVE. We heard some of the songs last July in Okemah, but this is so much better for home listening than our fuzzy recordings (which we did not make as it was prohibited). Listen for the unmistakeable artistry of Arlo and Willie.

Just be very careful to speak slowly and clearly when you mention "Folk Uke" or Cathy's other project with her siblings, "Those Folkin' Guthries"(aka The G Babes and Abe). I mean you could get slapped or something if you're not careful!

Dear Folk Uke,

If Sh*t really does make the flowers grow, why isn't the whitehouse overgrown with daisies? Signed, Quizzled.
