My brother works for an auto parts store in NJ. I told him my story about my friends illegal dumping (see forum). He started laughing and told me this story.

His co-worker was looking at some photographs that he just got developed. The guy liked one particular photo and said that he wanted to get it blown up to an 8X10.

Another co-worker said "an 8x10 color glossy photo?"

My brother added "with circles and arrows?"

and what made it funny was a customer somewehere in the store yells out "AND A PARAGRAPH ON THE BACK OF EACH ONE!"

Im convinced. Its like the alien invasion...they look just like you so you dont know which ones are the aliens.

I'd imagine everyone knows it. After all, it has been a song, a movie, a cookbook, etc. I wonder what's next for it. Alice's Restaurant: The Broadway Musical would be fun...

Who would be in the cast?

Are there any Arlo lookalikes from the 70s?

Maybe there could be 2 Arlos: The real one telling the story and singing the songs, and a 20-something look-alike acting it out.

It isn't an alien invasion it is a movement......Everyone around the world should sing a bar of Alice's restuaraunt in 5 part harmony at the exact same moment. Yes wait for it to come around on the guitar again. I know it drives the nuns nuts. That is another story.

Its would be like HANDS ACROSS AMERICA.

A quick math computation - If I drove from my house at the east end of Route 80 all the way to Oakland CA, the west end of Route 80, I could listen to ALICE 145 times!

I don't know how you would feel after that Louise, but I have a guess how all the other people on the plane or boat might feel!

14 hours from Sydney to LA by plane, all the while playing the Massacree? All I can say is that plane better have lots of restrooms. The passengers will be relieving themselves in droves each time it comes around!

Kind of a new twist on the Mile High Club, eh?

My youngest son will, (at unusual and unconventional intervals), begin jumping up and down yelling "Kill, KILL KILLKILLKILL!!!!!"

.....Luckily,..... there are enough people in the world who can identify this behavior as imitation, and not diagnose it as dementia.

(Heck,..... some people start jumping up and down with him yelling Kill Kill KILLKILLKILL).........
