Hello,
Being over from the Netherlands, me and my family just happened to be in Michigan area at the right time and visited Arlo's concert at Interlochen. I am an Arlo Guthtrie fan for many years, so I now finally had a chance to see him and the band alive! Great show and liked it a lot..I lined up for a signature afterwards and had a chance to talk with Arlo.
Because I wasn't alowed to take pictures, I didn't bring my camera. However, during the concert I noticed many flash lights, so apparently people were taking photos anyway. If anybody of them reads this and will be so kind to post or mail me any pictures I would be very happy.
Thanks in advance!

The flashes you were seeing were most likely professional pics for the school, or the newspapers,... or something like that. I DID happen to see a couple of photographers walking about, before the show. They looked rather professional, and on duty.

I got a couple of pics after the show, and posted them in the "fan pics" area of the forum, but I haven't seen them "up" yet. (They have to be approved my the board administrators/moderators).

In fact, I think the latest pics in the posting area are from last summer.

(Perhaps they've lost interest)?

Until the webmaster gets around to posting pictures, you might want to consider putting yours into an album on a site like WebShots or PhotoBucket... and then post a link on here for us to view them!

I'd love to see your pics!

hmmmm... i don't know why it's not letting me see your pix.... this has to be really frustrating for you! I haven't had this trouble before. Maybe it's a glitch at their end?

Do you have any other website that you can post pix on, and link directly to the picture location?

I can't see them either! :( I don't know why only YOU can see them ... that's weird!! I typed in Arlo Guthrie and came back with 4 pages of Arlo pics -- don't know if they're yours, tho!! :)

I was just looking, and I think you have to go into "My Account" and allow others to look at your pictures.

Don, I have a webshots account and what you need to do are the following steps:

1. Log in to your WebShots account
2. Click on My Photos
3. Look at the BLUE link (web address) (3rd line down)

It'll look something like this:

http://community.webshots.com/user/w3webdesign

4. Highlight the address
5. RIGHT-click -> copy
6. Come back here and RIGHT-click -> paste

Notice that a WebShots addy begins with the http and there's no www.
Also note that usually it'll be the same addy for everyone EXCEPT for our log-in names.... my ID (log-in name) is w3webdesign

To see how it will appear for others viewing your photo albums, simply click on the link inside WebShots and you'll see what we all will see (eventually)

Okay,..... what I did was this.....

..... While in my account, I right-clicked and saved the link to the pic that appears in MY address bar, and came back here to link it.

It too, began with http,... not www.

I usually don't have problems linking pics from other places to other forums that I belong to. (But these usually allow pic posting within the forums, themselves).

I'll continue to address the situation, at webshots.
