Hi Arlo! My fiancee is Mike Raven (www.mikeraven.com), the oldest child of Lt.J. Robert Raven who was in the Lincoln Brigade during the Spanish Civil war, he was wounded in the first battle and lost both of his eyes and his face had to be rebuilt. Mike was born 2 years later.
Mike has mentioned many times meeting your Dad in Greenwich Village in the 40's, before you were born I believe! Your Dad and Mike's Dad were friends until your Fathers untimely death.
Sadly, Mike's dad took his own life in the late 1960's suffering from a failed marriage and depression. Mike still misses him very much.

I just wanted to thank you for doing some recording of old Lincoln Brigade songs, I've ordered a CD and plan on giving to Mike on his 66th birthday next month!
