One of my favorite Arlo songs is "Somebody turned on the light" off of the "Hobo's Lullaby" album. Arlo didn't write it, Hoyt Axton did, but Arlo's version is the best one I've heard.

Does anyone know the story behind it? Was it written in response to something specific?
