I just got off the phone with a nice woman who's in charge of the Arlo and Pete show for Riverpool -- she said it wasn't sold out yet and asked me to mention it here. I got tickets --- I'm wondering if it might be Pete's last 'singing' concert due to his ailing health. I've been a Pete Seeger fan for SO long! It will be GREAT to see them together again! :D

Hope to see some of you there -- it's a very worthwhile organization! WOW! Two weekends of Arlo in a row!! It doesn't get any better

When I ordered my tickets I was warned Pete may not sing much due to his age. Well after seeing Pete at Keswick and Clearwater Festival this summer he seems to have recovered well from his bout with Lyme disease and is singing better than he has the last couple years. So I doubt this will be a last singing performance. I don't think Pete could contemplate such a thing and neither could I.

The part about it might be one of his last performances was told to me by the lady I spoke with. She said that he recently had the flu and pneumonia. :( We also talked about his occasional memory loss. She said that some days he can't remember much while other days he's right on target! She told me that he didn't really want to do this but his wife told him he had to!! Gotta love that woman!!! My 11-year old daughter will be accompanying me ... if no one minds my daughter being there, let's meet up!! She likes to go to these things -- she always goes to the Church with me. She acts like she's doing ME a favor but I believe she secretly enjoys it!!
