A friend of mine insists that she met Arlo at a Apple Market in Salem, VA!!
She said he had a broken left arm, sang her a song, offered to open her car door for her!! Now that she thinks about it she thinks it probably was a fan but told of his father etc.
He was not in a red bus but was in a car with friends.

Arlo was that you?? I know you will be in Roanoke, VA in 11 days but I looked and you have to be in Chicago Sunday.

Maybe it was an Arlo clone. The time Arlo came to Harrisonburg, VA there were alot of Arlo clones floating around lol. They seem to come out around Halloween for some reason. I put on the boards a pic of Arlo & one of the clones I had taken back then. It's on one of the threads on here. Hope ya get to go to Roanoke. We'll be there & it will be fun!

I'm retired now and $$ not around like it use to be.
My kids grew up going to see Arlo. My car tag use to say "ARLO FAN". The last time I saw him was in either Gaithersburg or Frederick, MD. We have been to West Virginia (Tee Shirt Kathy fell off the river raft)! We saw him years ago in Winston Salem, and near Raleigh (we went to back to back concerts). Imagine Arlo 3 times in 2 days! Wolf Trap was great because we also got to see Pete Seeger. Those are a few times so it's not like I've never seen him.

Have you see the car comercial with the song "Take Me for a Ride in Your Car Car"? Is it Rambling Jack or Arlo singing. I've only seen it once and I can't remember what kind of car comercial.

Oh Boy I remember some of those shows you are referring to. I remember T-Shirt Cathy falling off of the raft. Your Arlo Fan license plate sounds familiar. I think I saw it at a show & pointed it out to Mike. Pretty cool! I tghink we once saw hime 3 times in 2 or 3 days too. That was so cool. We're going to Charlottesville but driving on home after the show instead of staying overnite so we can save $$$ as we gotta pay for a motel when going to the Roqnoke show.. Maybe you can get the cheap seats at Roanoke. We have trouble affording stuff but scrape together the $$$ to get to the gigs cuz it's the only real entertaiment we get other than our satellite dish...
