I've been lucky. I'm 16, and I've already seen him twice, although admittedly, one was only a one song set at Farm Aid (but what a song!). I have tickets to see him again in February, and hopefully I'll be able to make it 4 on the CONO tour. How many times have all you guys seen him, out of curiosity?

Over 100 times I think. Not sure. At the last time I tried to count it was over 50 shows. So many times I've lost track. At one time I could count off all the shows for each yr but now I can't past the 3rd yr of concert going or so. When you've been going to gigs since 1989, and at least a few every yr it adds up...

I've been an Arlo-fan since 1970... finally got to see him in 1974. Been going to shows ever since. Probably over 100 but trying to remember that far back is way too taxing for this old brain.

Well, I know I can't remember Arlo giving a concert where no one came, so the answer to the question "how many times have all you guys seen him?" is "every time". javascript:emoticon('')
Wink

Personally, I have seen him here and there over the last fourty years and even when he was the M.C. and only got to play one song, it always cheers me up to see him.

What he did a gig in Richmond with Prine? Cool, I'd love to find out more about it. Holy cow I'd have loved to have gone to that but I didn't know about it. I bet it was before I became a blunderite. We have a niece & her hubby in OH who love Prine. Mike got into him for a short bit & bought some of his album. But after getting the Jesus The Missing Yrs album he decided he did't care for that record & gave it to our niece & his hubby. Mike should've gotten the Bruised Orange album. I like this one song off it & can't remember the name of it. Man it figures I'd miss a gig in my local area. Oh well, I've made up for it since lol...

Just noticed you're from Mechanicsville. My cousin Jason Mraz the folksinger is from there & now resides in California. Did you ever know him? If he ever comes to ya'lls areas, you'll want to go checking him out. He's good & he likes Arlo too. (I had nothing to do with that lol)...

I had the great pleasure of being at the Newport Folk Festival in 1967. Bad news is that I've probably only been to 6 or 7 Arlo concerts since then. Saw him this past June at Disney World and then again this past Monday at a great show in Charlotte, NC. My wife and I are trying to work out a schedule to catch the shows in SC and Ga in February, 2006. I hope the family will be at Disney World's "Flower Power" shows again at Epcot late next spring.

By my count, I've seen Arlo 9 times, 1st in 1979 & most recently in 2001. I know that's a lame total compared to the folks here who have seen him 100 times or more, but I'm not sure I wanna see anybody 100 times. I have a lotta varied interests in music & sports & other stuff, & seeing somebody that many times just takes time & resources away from other things I like that cost money.

Unfortunately never, that's why I'm hoping so much that he will come to Europe soon. I'm living of the "LIve in Sydney" CD as live performance goes, the Wooodstock Diaries DVD and the Alice's restaurant DVD for seeing the man. So pleeeeeeeaaaaaaaaase Arlo, come to Europe next year.

Buy some records, and come to America to see him. It will be worth your money. Trust me.
