OK, well that didn't work. :( But anyway, Arlo does appear as a guest performer on a Judy Collins DVD.

I have that DVD -- the Wildflower Festival! It's a great one -- with Eric Anderson and Tom Rush. :D When we were sat the Church for the Walk in April, it was playing on the TV (DVD). A DVD of one of his shows would be wonderful!!! :D

There IS a DVD of A Vision Shared .......and of course we know Arlo is on it for many songs.....unlike the RECORD where he didn't get to .....oh I will shut up cause it is great all those performers paid tribute to Woody and LedBelly but was a BIT peeved that Arlo seemed pushed aside on the record version.........sigh...........anyways, the DVD is great, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE him performing Grand Coulee Dam on that  As well as the songs with Pete.....he and Pete are so damn GOOD together.....er I am new here .........can I say that?

Speaking of video performances am I the only human being on EARTH that saw a show of Arlo and Pete live on PBS way back.....I am thinking it was in the seventies........I can NOT find this on video or anywhere but it WAS televised so it has to be somewhere

Is the PBS special the one where Pete sits cross legged on the floor and watches Arlo play??

I remember seeing a special on PBS with Pete and Arlo.....

There was an oriental stle rug on the stage and they each took turns sitting on it, while the other performed.

Dave

Now all we have to do is figure out the name of the show and what year it was played on PBS...

Then we can beg PBS to sell the show on DVD...

:-)

This is the set list from the PBS Arlo Guthrie & Shenandoah/Pete Seeger TV program. I agree, it should be released officially! The dating of the actual show at Wolftrap is not definite. Some claim that the show is from 1977 not 1978. Maybe someone out there still has their program folio from the show and can confirm or supply the correct date of the concert. The telecast date differs as the PBS broadcast differs as per the market.

PETE SEEGER & ARLO GUTHRIE - WOLFTRAP FARM PARK - VIENNA, VIRGINIA - AUGUST 23, 1978
Songs: Midnight Special/Pigtown Fling/Get Up & Go/Where Have All The Flowers Gone?/Sailing Down My Golden River/Little Beggarman/ Ground Hog/Freight Train/I'm Gonna Be An Engineer/Garden Song/Garbage/ I've Just Seen A Face/Tzena, Tzena/Guabi, Guabi/Way Out There/Prologue/ Because All Men Are Brothers/City Of New Orleans/St. Louis Tickle/ Precious Friend/If I Had A Hammer/Lonesome Valley/Amazing Grace/This Land Is Your Land
